Intel new LV 5500 series Xeons Print

INTEL TODAY ANNOUNCED four new procesors aimed at the server and workstation market.  First off the line is a new low voltage version of the Intel Xeon 5500 series processor, Intel Xeon L5530 processor.  The new processor expands Intel's offering in the 60W LV Xeon 5500 SKUs running at 2.40GHz.

A dual-socket workstation chip, the Intel Xeon W5590 processor which runs at 3.33GHz, was also announced.   Two new single-socket workstation chips joined their own lineup, the W3580 running at 3.33GHz and the W3550 running at 3.06GHz.
