Windows for ARM CPUs? Print

NEWS SITE BLOOMBERG IS REPORTING that Microsoft will be unveiling a version of its Windows operating system at the Consumer Electronics Show that is designed to run on the ARM CPU architecture.  It has been reported that the OS will be tailored to run on devices with batteries such as netbooks and tablets.  The new software will also be able to work on Intel and AMD x86 based processors.
